副市长尚建荣就发挥好协会的作用提了三点意见，一要围绕建立完善安全生产长效机制，为政府决策搞好服务。建立安全生产长效管理机制是全面提升我市安全生产整体水平、实现安全生产持续稳定好转的重要途径。二要围绕全面提升企业安全管理水平，为行业和企业搞好服务。协会要根据企业的需要，组织专家帮助企业开展事故隐患排查，对重大危险源进行评估和论证，指导企业做好危险源的监控和事故隐患的整改，指导帮助企业编制事故应急救援预案等活动。三要围绕全市安全文化建设，为社会大众搞好服务。协会在加强安全生产文化建设工作中要发挥服务和引导作用，利用培训、讲座等形式开展安全生产宣传教育，积极普及安全生产科学技术知识，营造安全文化氛围，提高群众安全意识和应急能力，构建群众积极参与安全管理的格局
