On May 18, the 2016 China Equipment Manufacturing Technology and Industrial Cooperation Forum was held in Jiangsu Institute of Technology. Academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering Prof. Li Peigen, Prof. Lu Bingheng and Prof. Yang Huayong delivered keynote speeches. Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang attended the forum and made an address.

The forum is themed with "intelligent manufacturing and green development."

The three academicians made presentations respectively on the topics of technology awareness and vision in intelligent manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing and 3D printing, and intelligent equipment in China.

In the forum, Mechanical Science Research Institute and Jiangsu Institute of Technology signed a cooperation agreement to carry out collaborative innovation programs.

The forum has been held for six consecutive years, which promoted the establishment of a number of new industry institutes. A batch of programs, including a few of the national key science and technology projects, have realized technology transfer and industrialization.
