The 2016 Weidun Cultural Festival & Peach Blossom Festival was opened Ion March 26th in the Weidun Park. Various charming peach blossoms attracted a large number of tourists.

The main venue of the event is the scenic spot named the Paradise of Peach Blossoms, where half of the park’s ornamental peach trees are in full blossom, including different varieties like Harrow Frostipink, Houkimomo, Shiroshidare, Unriumomo, etc. The blooming phase will last till the middle of April.

In the opening ceremony, the premier show of the original stage play, The Echo of Weidun, reproduced the life of Weidun people 6,000 years ago. Other cultural activities were also highly praised by the tourists.
