In 2014, Changzhou speeded up the construction of innovation parks, encouraged enterprises to increase investment in research and development, and supported leading enterprises to cooperate with famous institutes and universities to set up R&D platforms and strategic alliances for technological innovation.

In 2015, Changzhou will further promote the restructuring and reform in crucial areas and key industrial chains, so as to mobilize the vitality of market. The government will also make more efforts to introduce a number of high-level projects with promising future, and to attract foreign investment in areas like culture and creativity, tourism and entertainment, convention and exhibition, etc.
