As one of the main events of the 9th China (Changzhou) International Animation and Digital Arts Festival to be opened in April, the 2nd ��Golden Dinosaur Award�� Original Animation Contest was officially opened on March 28th.
　　This Contest is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Jiangsu Provincial Government, organized by Changzhou Dinosaur Park Company Limited and specially co-organized by the Cartoon Arts Committee of China Television Artists Association and Animation Weekly. The ��Golden Dinosaur Award�� offers a stage for new original animation, especially those ��grass-root�� works; it exhibits animation images, animation short films, cartoons, scripts and so on; and it is opened to not only professionals in animation field, but also to all animation amateurs.
　　The time period of call for entries is between March 28th and July 10th all over China. The awarding ceremony will be held at the 9th China (Changzhou) International Animation and Digital Arts Festival in August.
