The 2018 Spring Festival travel rush started on Feb 1.

According to estimates, 29,808 people traveled through Changzhou via railway, down 28.57%; 94,409 people traveled by highway, down 6.88%; and 6,888 people traveled by airplane, up 1%.

To deal with the huge quantity of travelers, local departments have responded with temporary passenger trains and increased flights to ensure a smooth journey for everyone.

Changzhou Transportation Group has added 18 bus trips. A total of 346 pairs of daily trains carried 3,919 passengers to and from Changzhou North Square. Changzhou Airport scheduled 61 flights from Changzhou to other cities, regions and countries.
