The State Council recently issued theApproval on Adding Changzhou, Jiangsu into the National Historical and Cultural Citiesas approved and signed by Premier Li Keqiang.

According to theApproval, Changzhou has a long history and rich cultural heritage, distinctive heritage conservation districts, and well-preserved urban structure in the traditional style, which gives the city great historical and cultural value.
