The year 2016 marks the beginning of China’s 13th Five-Year Plan. Under the background of mass innovation and economic restructuring, and in line with the concept of innovative, coordinated, green, open and shared development, Changzhou is going to hold the 2016 China (Changzhou) International Exchange & Cooperation Conference on Science & Technology Innovation in May. The theme of the conference will be “promoting international technology transfer and sharing international cooperation experiences.� With a focus on green development of cities, we would like to invite to Changzhou the senior management fromuniversities, research institutions and technology transfer entities in Israel, UK, US, Australia, Germany, Finland, Italy, South Korea and Hong Kong to introduce and promote latest technological innovations in the world. We would also like to have discussions and exchanges on successful experiences and featured practices of international technology transfer, as well as exploring new paths and models of international technology transfer and commercialization.

At the same time, we will hold three international technology exchange seminars respectively themed with smart grid, graphene, and rail transportation. The event will be held during the 11th China (Changzhou) Advanced Manufacturing Technology Achievements Exhibition sponsored by Changzhou Municipal People's Government in 2016. It is organized by Changzhou Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and Changzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and co-organized by Changzhou International Exchange Center of Science and Technology, etc.
