On November 16, ChangzhouUniversity’s 16thSecondaryCollege- Urban Rail Transit Institute was formally established. The institute will be dedicated to training senior technical and management personnel for the future development of urban rail transit. The institute sets six majors: automation, communication engineering, mechanical and electronic engineering, project management, civil engineering, electrical engineering and automation. It is expected to enroll more than 300 students in the fall of next year.

The new institute has powerful faculty, including nearly 20 professors, more than 30 doctoral personnel and a number of interdisciplinary high-end human resources.
