Changzhou Technology and Economic Development Centre hung out its shingle at Essen, Germany

On October 15th, Changzhou business delegation continued the economic and trade activities in Germany. Mr. Yan Li, Party Secretary of Changzhou, met with Mr. Pa?, Mayor of Essen. They jointly inaugurated “Changzhou Technology and Economic Development Centre (CTEDC)�nbsp;in Essen, Germany. Hence, Changzhou enterprises have a new platform to go global.

Essen is located at western Germany, and is the 6th largest city of the country. Among the 18 German Top 100 enterprises at Ruhr Region, 10 set up their HQ in Essen. Last year, Essen and Changzhou signed the Letter of Intent on Establishing Sister-City Relationship, and were approved as the “Demonstration City of China-EU Urbanization Partnership Cooperation�nbsp;by the National Development and Reform Commission. Both sides signed and launched the cooperative plan on “Sino-German Innovation Park�

At the unveiling ceremony, Mr. Pa?, Mayor of Essen, expressed his congratulation to the first batch of achievements reached by the cooperation between Essen and Changzhou. Mr. Yan Li spoke highly of CTEDC. “It is a milestone of mutual cooperation and economic and technological exchange. It creates a good platform for Changzhou enterprises to participate in international cooperation on larger scale, in broader field and at higher level.â€
