On May 12, the Sino-German Industrial Innovation and Incubation Platform was officially launched in Wujin Hi-tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). Representatives of relevant departments, research institutes and companies on both sides attended the signing ceremony. Changzhou is one of the key investment areas of Germany in East China. In 2013, China and Germany officially established the Sino-German Innovation Park in Changzhou. This platform, as a further step of Sino-German cooperation in innovative projects, will become a "platform-based core carrier" of the two countries. It will give full play to the advantages of both sides to jointly build the Sino-German industrial innovation platform 2.0, and establish an international cross-border science and technology fund. On the one hand, the platform will help Chinese enterprises to further learn from Germany’s successful experience in technological innovation and industrial upgrading, and introduce from Germany the resources of talent, science and technology, capital and so on, especially R & D personnel and technology in the areas of Industry 4.0, robotics, artificial intelligence, smart city, etc. On the other hand, it will help German small and medium enterprises to achieve technology transfer in China, and further deepen multi-directional cooperation and exchanges in innovation, technology, capital and many more.
