According to the comprehensive reading survey released on April 21, during the year of 2014, 88.3% of the residents in Changzhou have read often through different types of media including paper publications and electronic publications, ranking the third in Jiangsu Province.

Paper publications include books, newspapers, magazines, etc. Electronic publications include e-books, digital magazines, and so on published through internet, mobile phone, e-book reader, etc.

This survey, conducted by the Chinese Academy of Press and Publication (CAPP), has an annual sample size of 2,060 respondents in Changzhou.
