During February 7thand 13th, Changzhou saw road transport of 740,000 passenger trips, down 7.38%. According to the detailed report, the city鈥檚 major bus terminals completed 106,000 passenger trips, a decrease of 10%; tourism coaches traveled 28,000 passenger trips, an increase of 7.7%; and rural bus lines achieved 328,000 passenger trips, up 28%. The destinations of tourism coaches are mainly Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and some other cities in north Jiangsu, as well as Shanghai, Anhui, Zhejiang, Henan, Sichuan, Guizhou, etc. Changzhou civil aviation fulfilled 35,000 passenger trips, down 5.4%. Bus lines in urban Changzhou completed 3.653 million passenger trips, down 12%; however, due to the strong travel demand for visiting relatives in rural areas during the Spring Festival , passenger trips by rural bus lines increased by 28%. In addition, during the Spring Festival, Changzhou鈥檚 railway system traveled 190,000 passenger trips.
