On February 21, it was informed from the municipal transport authority that during the week-long Lunar New Year holiday, Changzhou’s road transport served 620,000 passenger trips.Changzhou Airport served 55,300 passenger trips, of which overseas passenger throughput increased 46.5% over the same period last year.

Due to the continuous rainy weather, the average daily passenger throughput of road transport was about 88,700 during the Golden Week, declined slightly in comparison with last year. However, from the second day of Chinese New Year, the passenger flow increased day by day as people started to visit relatives and friends. Road transport saw a return passenger flow peak of 106,700 on final day of Spring Festival.
