Between November 7^thand 8^th, the first big country forum on rule of law - International Symposium on Law and Morality was successfully held in Changzhou University. The forum was co-sponsored by Changzhou University, the Global Ethics Network, Shi Liang Law School of Changzhou University, the Research Institute of Chinese Law and Morality Strategic of Changzhou University, and the Jiangsu Research Base of Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics of Changzhou University.

More than 70 well-known experts of law and ethics from over 40 universities and research institutions both at home and abroad, such as the University of Basel, Heidelberg University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, China University of Political Science, Capital Normal University, Hebei University of Economics and Trade, and so on, attended the forum and had in-depth discussion about the relationship between law and morality in the process of human civilization.
