With the purpose of acquiring suggestions on brain gain, technological innovation and other aspects from returnee talents, Changzhou convened the Returnee Talents Forum on January 3rd in the afternoon. Gathering with 15 returned talents, Yan Li, Secretary of Changzhou Municipal Party Committee, listened to their feelings and experience in the entrepreneurial approach, and shared vision for the development of enterprises. During the forum, the participants exchanged advises and opinions on establishing a multidimensional communication platform, expanding development channels, etc. The year 2013 witnessed the thoroughly implementation of Changzhou’s Longcheng Talent Plan, with 478 leading creative and innovative talents recruited, among which there were 155 talents of the National Recruitment Program of Global Experts (1000 Talents Plan). The number of all kinds of leading talents signed totaled up to 1,851, 264 talents of the 1000 Talents Plan included, taking the leading position in Jiangsu Province. Meantime, 161 key pioneering enterprises founded by leading talents receiving well-known venture capital investment or invested firstly by key enterprises in Changzhou and then by government have been introduced and fostered, which have become a new growth point of Changzhou’s economic development.
