Crabapple blossom festival starts in Jingchuan Park on March 26

Jingchuan Park will hold the 4th Changzhou Jingchuan Park Cultural Festival & Crabapple Blossom Festival on March 26th, lasting 10 days.

According to Cai Guiqin, deputy director of the Jingchuan Park Management Office, there are more than 500 plants of Malus halliana Koehne, 25 plants of Malus micromalus, 145 plants of North American Begonia, 1,070 plants of Chaenomeles japonica Lindl, 250 square meters of Chaenomeles speciosa flower bed and 130 pots of bonsai in the park. All the crabapples of different varieties will bloom in the park during spring. Gu Junxi, director of the Jingchuan Park Management Office, hopes to enrich the park’s activities through continuous improvement and upgrade.

During the festival, Jingchuan Park and Yonghong Sub-district will jointly hold a number of cultural activities, including theatrical performances, bonsai exhibition, exhibition of modern floral arrangement, succulents exhibition, seal carving art exhibition, painting and calligraphy exhibition, etc.
