On the afternoon of May 8, the Changzhou government and business delegation, headed by Fei Gaoyun, party secretary of Changzhou, visited the Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU) to promote cooperation in the areas of aerospace, new materials, etc.

In the meeting, Fei said that Changzhou has always been adhering to the strategy of innovation-driven economic and social development, and focusing on promoting the development of innovative enterprises and new industries. NPU has outstanding faculties in fields of aviation, aerospace and navigation, which perfectly matches Changzhou’s industrial demand.

Song Baowei, vice president of NPU, expressed the will to carry out cooperation with Changzhou in regards to technology transfer.

The same day, Changzhou Lan Xiang Machinery Co., Ltd. signed the Agreement for Further Cooperation with NPU; while Changzhou Airport Industrial Park, New United Group and Beijing General Aviation Co., Ltd. (BGAC) signed with NPU the Agreement on University-Industry-Science Partnership in Navigation Technology.
