On the morning of November 26, the inauguration ceremony of Thailand Research Center of Changzhou University was held on the campus of Changzhou University. It is the first Sino-Thai cultural education research institution in the district of Thai Consulate General in Shanghai (covering Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui).

It is learned that the Center was established under the multifaceted cooperation intention reached during Premier Li Keqiang’s visit to Thailand in this October, including cultural and educational exchange, mutual visa-free travel, etc.

According to statistics, there are approximately 50,000 teachers and students from China and Thailand visiting each other’s country for exchange and study.
