Recently it was learned from Xinbei District that a new type of aircraft has successfully made its maiden flight, which uses the high-performance carbon fiber products supplied by Zhongjian Technology Development Co., Ltd., an independently-founded company which facilitates the first high-performance carbon fiber production line in China.

Carbon fiber is a high-strength, high-modulus (resistance to deformation) material containing more than 93% of carbon. It is lighter than aluminum, but stronger than steel, and is resistant to corrosion, which is concerned as an important strategic material of the defense industry and national economy.
