Recently, the annual survey, titled Amazing China - the Most Attractive Chinese Cities for Expats 2021, has been unveiled by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Changzhou is one of the cities winning this title. ?

The survey has been conducted for 11 consecutive years. It is the only city list in China that is solely voted by expatriates.

In 2021, there were 41 candidate cities, Changzhou being one of them. The cities were assessed from five major aspects: policy support, government service, work environment, living environment and sci-tech atmosphere, all of which were further divided into 23 indicators. The foreign experts and talents in Changzhou took part in the survey.

For years, the Changzhou Science and Technology Bureau has attached great importance to the work of talent attraction. By optimizing business environment and improving service for foreign experts, it has established a brand to attract foreign professionals. Since 2021, the city boasts 35 innovation and start-up talents, and 534 leading innovation and start-up programs.
