Recently, it was learned that Jiangsu Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology announced the list of2018 Jiangsu Provincial Enterprises of Specialties and Novel Products & Provincial Little Giant Enterprises, including 70 provincial enterprises of specialties and novel products, 60 provincial little giants of science and technology, 27 provincial hidden champions, and 16 hidden little giants. Among them, there are 17 enterprises in Changzhou, the number of which ranks fourth in the province.

The identification of provincial enterprises of specialties and novel products & provincial little giant enterprises began in 2012 and 2013 respectively. In order to further promote the spirit of craftsmanship, improve product quality and model innovation, and enhance core competitiveness of companies in the province. The identification of provincial hidden champions and hidden giants was newly added this year, and 27 enterprises have been identified as hidden champions this time, five of which are from Changzhou. They are: Quick Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Luokai Mechanical & Electrical Co.,Ltd., Jiangsu Leili Motor Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Longcheng Precision Forging Co., Ltd.
