On December 18, COTESA (China) Composite Materials Co., Ltd., which was invested and acquired by Changzhou Qifu Antai Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., was put into production in the Changzhou National High-tech District (CND). Zhou Bin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC Xinbei District Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. With a total investment of about 100 million US dollars, the company officially settled in the China-Switzerland Changzhou Industrial Park on September 26 this year. After putting into production, it is expected to have an annual capacity of 2,000 tons of carbon fiber composite parts mainly for commercial aircraft companies. COTESA GmbH was established in 2002 in Saxony, Germany. After more than ten years of hard work, COTESA has become Germany’s leading manufacturer of high-end carbon fiber composite parts for aerospace and automotive engineering. Over the years, COTESA has not only maintained close cooperation with well-known aviation companies such as Airbus, Boeing, Airbus Helicopter and Bombardier, but also provided composite parts for luxury car production lines of many world-renowned automakers such as Maserati, AMG and BMW.
