On the morning of July 2, Changzhou National High-tech District (CND) held the groundbreaking ceremony for the second group of key projects in 2018. The 30 key projects, with a total investment of 19.3 billion yuan, planned to invest 5.93 billion yuan in 2018. Cao Jiazhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and executive deputy mayor, and Zhou Bin, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of the CPC Changzhou National High-tech District Working Committee, attended the groundbreaking ceremony.

Among them, the Changzhou Hengbang Pharmaceutical Project is located in the Life and Health Industrial Park. The project is positioned as a high-end preparation intelligent manufacturing program with a total investment of 3 billion yuan, mainly used in the research, development, production and sales of biological and chemical preparations. It is estimated that the annual output value of the project will reach 3.5 billion yuan.

In addition, there are 13 municipal key projects and 16 district-level key projects. Among them, the municipal key projects are: LANXESS Engineering Plastics, Chunjiang Youyihe Commercial Street, Changzhou Sludge Disposal (Phase I), Light Curing Materials Industrial Park, Yuejiao International Warehousing, Dongfeng Precision Bearing, Underground Pipe Gallery of Xinlong International Business Town, AgieCharmilles High-end Machine Tools, Bomag Engineering Machinery, Xinquan Car Dashboard, Xixiashu Knife Tool Center, Newtry Carbon Fiber, and Hongfa Composite Materials.

It is reported that in the first half of this year, CND has introduced 32 industrial projects with a total investment of over 10 million US dollars or 100 million yuan.
