On the 20th of January, the 7th Jiangsu-Taiwan Lantern Show opened in Dino Watertown, lasting 30 days. Man Hongwei, Director of ATETS Taipei Office, Qin Jingan, Chairman of Jiangsu Tourism Association, Yan Li, Party Secretary of Changzhou, Zhang Wei, Vice Director of Taiwan Affair Office of Jiangu, Zhou Yonghui, Chairman of Taiwan Strait Tourism Association, and Lai Sezhen, Chairwoman of Taiwan Visitors Association, attended the lighting ceremony. Yan gave a speech and introduced the development of Changzhou’s tourism industry. This lantern show occupies more than 200,000� covering the whole area of Universal Dinosaur Town. The show has seven themed exhibitions, containing more than 60 giant lantern works and over 10 thousand lanterns with various themes. Remarking the Year of the Rooster, the Jiangsu-Taiwan Lantern Show is held to promote communications between Taiwan and Chinese mainland. The show offers free entry to the public. There will also be more than 20 Chinese New Year events hosted in the Universal Dinosaur Town.
