AAC Technologies†optical camera module put into operation in September

On the morning of May 21, vice governor Fei Gaoyun visited the optical camera module project site of AAC Technologies Holdings in Changzhou.

The project is located in Changzhou National High-tech District (CND), with a total investment of 600 million US dollars. After completion, it will become a research, development and manufacturing base for optical modules. Expecting 100 million yuan sales annually, AAC technologies will build an optical module industry chain in the CND. Fei Gaoyun pointed out that to promote the construction of major projects is of great significance to ensure stability on six fronts (employment, the financial sector, foreign trade, foreign investment, domestic investment, and expectations). The CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and the Provincial Government will attach great importance to the project’s development. Optical camera is a precision component with high value and high technology, having a broad market. AAC Technologies is a leader in the optical technology industry. Its project is conducive to accelerating the incubation, transformation and application of high-tech optical components. It is not only important for the province to break through the bottleneck of core technologies, but also of great significance to the high-quality development of Changzhou.

City leaders Cai Jun, Zhou Bin, Fang Guoqiang and Yang Fen accompanied Fei’s delegation.
