The Changzhou Talent Supply-Demand Study 2017 was recently released. According to the report, private enterprises need 35,411 personnel, accounting for 94.88% of total demand; while state-owned institutions in fields of health, education, culture and so on need 1,911 personnel, accounting for 5.12% of total demand. This year’s average demand for talent is about 16 people per business, slightly declined comparing with the number in 2016. The demand for talent holding master's degree or senior titles is 2,925, while that for talent holding bachelor’s degree or intermediate titles is 10,859, accounting for 7.84% and 29.1% respectively. From the perspective of industrial sectors, machinery manufacturing, service industry, and new energy and new materials are ranked the top three, with the demand for 15,534, 3,735 and 2,187 talent respectively, accounting for 70.54% of the total demand.
