On April 25, the first cooperation project jointly invested by Liyang City and Leeuwarden of the Netherlands, namely the 3-MW biogas power generation project held a groundbreaking ceremony in Yixiang Village, Shezhu Town, Liyang.
　　It is understood that the biogas power generation project involves the investment of about RMB 115 million, which is scheduled to be completed in April 2013. After it enters operation, it enables to process 78.4 tons of animal manure, 116.4 tons of straw, and 17.4 tons of kitchen and agricultural waste each day. And the annual processing capacity will reach 70,000 tons.
