On the morning of July 30^th, Deputy Mayor Zhang Yunyun met with the delegation of the Consulate-General of the United Kingdom in Shanghai headed by the deputy consul-general Matthew Forbes.

Zhang introduced to the delegates the economic and social development in Changzhou, especially the results achieved in medical and health services. She said UK is one of the countries first implemented the universal health care system, whose experience has important reference value for Changzhou’s reform in the health care industry. She hoped both sides would enhance exchanges and cooperation in the sector of medical and health services.

During the meeting, Forbes briefed UK’s universal health care system, and expressed their will to carry out more exchanges and cooperation with Changzhou in the health care industry.
