On November 19th, Shao Ming, deputy director of the Municipal People's Congress, met with a three-member delegation headed by Ma Sihua, vice president of the Thai-Chinese Friendship Association. The two sides exchanged ideas about the bilateral relations and cooperation opportunities. Invited by the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, the delegation of Thai-Chinese Friendship Association arrived in Changzhou on November 17th. The main purpose of their visit is to learn about Changzhou’s agricultural programs including pesticide products, spraying pesticides, UAV, etc. During the meeting, Shao Ming gave a brief introduction to Changzhou’s geographical location, history, culture, economy, industrial development, transport, aviation, and so on. Shao hopes the two sides to seek cooperation in various ways. On November 18th, Ma Sihua and his delegation visited Haijie Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Changlong Chemicals Co., Ltd. They discussed about the issues on exporting agricultural products like UAV and pesticides to Thailand. It is reported that this time Ma will also visit Changzhou Airport for the preliminary work for the opening of international flights between Changzhou and Thailand.
