According to Changzhou Municipal Commercial Affairs Bureau, statistics from 48 sample enterprises showed that customers spent 2.552 billion yuan in 17 days before and after Spring Festival, a year-on-year growth of 16.76%. Among the consumption hotspots, food took the leading place, spring and winter clothing were in high demand, new types of household appliances gained most popularity, and subsidiary food were sold well.
