According to the officially released information from the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission, between 00:00 and 24:00, March 1, no new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jiangsu. Seven additional patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital.

As of the 1st of March, 631 confirmed cases have been reported in Jiangsu accumulatively, of which 51 were confirmed in Changzhou. To date, a total of 48 patients in Changzhou diagnosed with COVID-19 have been cured and have been subsequently discharged from the hospital.

According to the relevant national laws and regulations, based on the current COVID-19 situation in the province, Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government has lowered its level of public health emergency response from level-I to level-II. Category-based, region-specific prevention and control measures have been adopted to win this all-out war against the epidemic.
