On February 19th, it was learned from Changzhou Inspection and Quarantine Bureau (CZIQ) that 3,194 regional preferential certificates of origin have been issued by CZIQ in January, involving 141 million US dollars, increased by 127% and 81% respectively, which exempted export enterprises from more than 7 million US dollars of import tariff. Among them, there are 1,050 certificates of origin for China-Korea FTA and Sino-Australia FTA, being the second among FTA certificates of origin, following China-ASEAN Free Trade Area as the earliest free trade zone. The regional preferential certificate of origin is reputed as the “paper gold, which is more and more favored by enterprises due to its principles of “reciprocity and mutual benefit. CZIQ notifies the relevant export enterprises to apply for preferential certificate of origin in time so as to enjoy tariff exemption. At the same time, enterprises can adjust the structure of export products timely in order to make full use of the dividend policy of FTA.
