A successful inaugural flight between Changzhou and Taiwan

At 12:20 on February 1, the inaugural flight between Changzhou and Taiwan, operated by China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Limited on its Airbus A320 jet, successfully landed in Changzhou Airport.

Mayor Fei Gaoyun, and Vice Mayors Fang Guoqiang and Shi Zhijun recieved the delegation of Taipei-Wujin Association and Taiwan businessmen at the airport.

The flight took off at 8:00 from Changzhou Airport with 117 passengers of Changzhou Cultural Exchange Group and Changzhou Association of Taiwan-invested Enterprises. Dai Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee of CPC, and Fang Guoqiang, Deputy Mayor of Changzhou, attended the inauguration ceremony.

The Changzhou-Taipei route opens every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The schedule is as following: departing from Changzhou at 8 A.M. and arriving in Taipei at 9:30 A.M.; and departing from Taipei at 10:30 A.M. and arriving in Changzhou at 12:50 A.M.

Starting from February 7, direct flights to Bangkok will be available in Changzhou. The flight number is MU7809, operated by China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Limited on Airbus A320 jet. The schedule is departing from Changzhou at 23:30 and arriving in Bangkok at 03:30, and departing from Bangkok at 04:20 and arriving in Changzhou at 07:50 (the departure and arrival times are local times because of time differences). In addition, direct flights to Cheju operated by Jin Air Co. Ltd. will be inaugurated on February 16.
