On August 6th,The Comprehensive Evaluation Report on Sustainable Development of the Cities in Jiangsu Province 2011was released by Jiangsu Institute of Urban Development. According to this report, Changzhou ranks the 1st under the category of ��Population Quality�� (referring to people��s ideological, cultural and physical qualities, etc.).
　　This report has assessed the 13 cities of Jiangsu Province and scored their performances in sustainable development, among which Changzhou ranks the fourth. The ranking of cities in descending order of sustainable development is as follows: Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing, Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Nantong, Yangzhou, Lianyungang, Taizhou, Xuzhou, Yancheng, Huai'an, Suqian.
