Recently it was learned from Jintan District Science and Technology Bureau that among the 10 institutes, companies and universities selected into the 2016 Jiangsu High-value Patents Fostering Plan, Changzhou EGing Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. is the only Changzhou company and PV business in the list.

According to Tang Ping, person in charge of EGing’s patent application, EGing has applied for over 500 patents and obtained 216 active patents, including 78 invention patents, 127 utility model patents and 11 design patents.

It is learned that the Jiangsu High-value Patents Fostering Plan focuses on strategic emerging industries with local advantages to collect all kinds of innovative resources and build a number of demonstration centers integrating companies, university research institutes and intellectual property services. The plan aims to foster a number of high-value patents with strong international competitiveness and forward-looking potential to lead the industry development, which will provide strong support for Jiangsu to speed up industrial restructuring and upgrading.
