On October 25^th, the 3^rdChina Design Innovation Conference & the 1st China-Korea Design Innovation Forum was held in Changzhou. Mr. Luo Min, General Director of Industrial and Cultural Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Mr. Zhu Xi, President of China Industry Association, Mr. Lee Taeyong, President of Korea Institute of Design Promotion, and Mr. Wang Chengbin, Vice Mayor of Changzhou, attended the forum and delivered a speech each.

Currently, Changzhou has 1 national-level industrial design center, 7 provincial-level industrial design demonstration centers and 13 provincial industrial design model enterprises.

On the forum, design experts from Kia Motor Group, Coway Company, Artop and International Design Institute of Zhejiang University made speeches, bringing the latest research results, academic ideas and successful practices in the industry.

10 manufacturing Changzhou enterprises including Trina Solar, Tiansheng New Materials and KTK signed agreements on design cooperation with German, Japanese and Chinese design companies as well as Jiangsu University of Technology. Nearly 100 industrial enterprises in Changzhou demanded for industrial designs.
