On June 5th, 2015, the Changzhou Research Institute for New Basic Education was established in Longcheng Primary School of Juqianjie Primary Education Group. Six professors of the Research Center for New Basic Education of East China Normal University attended the opening ceremony.

The Changzhou Research Institute for New Basic Education involves the directors of the Education, Culture and Sports Bureaus of the city’s four districts, the directors of the Centers for the Development of Teachers, the principals of 20 schools and nearly 200 part-time researchers.
