Changzhou to build Huayuan Street into a landscape avenue

The construction of building Huayuan Street into a landscape avenue is in full swing in progress, with trees planted, the landscape project from Ding’an Road to Renmin Road completed, and the cross plots green construction from Huayuan Street to Juhu Road launched, according to Wujin District Construction Bureau and Hutang Town.

After extended towards north at the end of September in 2013, Huayuan Street has jointed Jinling Road, thus became the key corridor in the process of Integration of Changzhou and Wujin, which rendered the street as the longest business street in Changzhou’s history. The street is designed as a landscape avenue accompanied by water and green.

Taking advantage of the water area along, Huayuan Street will be built with a city landscape of delicate water, flowers, pavilions, terraces and open halls. As the concentration area of attractions, the section of Ding’an Road to Renmin Road is planned with Thai-style two-story wooden pavilion and other collections. Antique walls, exercise squares and other projects are schemed to be built along both sides of Hutang River in harmony with sidewalks, water-loving platforms, lights and so on, which embodies a concept of getting close to nature.
