Recently, it was learned from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology that the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology granted certificates to 327 provincial-level model smart workshops at the beginning of 2020, of which there are 28 Changzhou-based workshops.

Intelligent manufacturing is known as a key link in the new round of global manufacturing technology revolution. In recent years, Changzhou has focused on intelligent manufacturing, effectively promoted the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries and supported enterprises to accelerate their construction of smart workshops and factories.

As of now, a total of 100 workshops in the city have passed the provincial assessment of model smart workshops, ranking third in the province.
