On the morning of May 6, the Trudge for A Bag of Milk 2016, a charitable event co-organized by Changzhou Volunteers Association, Changzhou Virtue Foundation and Changzhou Radio & TV Station, was opened in Yancheng, Wujin District.

There are 12 stops in this year’s trudge route, including the south entrance of Yancheng Amusement Park, the New World Plaza, the Universal Dinosaur Town (Dino Valley), etc., with a whole length of 30 km.

Trudge for A Bag of Milk is an annual charitable fund-raising activity initiated in May 2014 with the purpose of donating milk to the children of migrant workers living in poverty. According to statistics, Changzhou has currently over 100,000 children from economically disadvantaged families.

This year, a total of 22,000 people organized by 1,000 teams participated in the trudge, raising a fund of 782,800 yuan through registration.
