On October 28th, Barry Chang, mayor of Cupertino, Santa Clara County, California, the United States, and his delegation visited Changzhou.

Chang and his delegation visited Changzhou in June and exchanged views with Vice Mayor Fang Guoqiang, during which the two sides signed a memorandum on the establishment of friendly cooperative relations between the two cities. On the basis of last visit, this mission will deepen friendly exchanges and expand bilateral cooperation between both sides.

Yun Shuang, deputy director of the Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, met with Chang and his delegation at the Administration Center. The two sides went through in-depth discussion on education, trade, science and technology, urban construction and other topics, as well as the possibility of cooperation in some specific projects.

Representatives of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the International Exchange Center of the Municipal Bureau of Education and the Changzhou National High-tech Zone also attended the meeting.
