According to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance on Monday, China Aviation Lithium Electricity Technology Co., Ltd. (CALB) and SVOLT Energy Co., Ltd. (SVOLT) ranked third and fifth in terms of power battery output in the first quarter of 2022.

CALB and SVOLT, both located in Changzhou, have market shares of 8.17 percent and 2.5 percent, respectively.

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL), the first place in the ranking, has its largest production center in the Liyang county-level city of Changzhou.
