On the afternoon of March 2^nd, party secretary Yan Li met with the senior officials of Vallourec Asia Pacific Corp. Pte. Ltd. in Shanghai.

Yan said that it has been 20 years since Vallourec invested in Changzhou, which established a close cooperative relationship. At present, the world economic development is facing difficulties, which also brought many opportunities, especially the Chinese market. He believes that Vallourec has unique core competences, and hopes the two sides will work together to overcome difficulties and prepare for a new-round development.

During Yan’s stay in Shanghai for Changzhou-Shanghai Economic Cooperation Month, Yan inspected the Songjiang District and visited the Caohejing Songjiang Industrial Park, the construction site of Shanghai Tianmashan Hotel, the Guangfulin ancient cultural relics, etc. Cheng Xiangmin, Party Sectary of Songjiang District accompanied Yan during the investigation.
