On April 1, Wujin launched the Cloud Service Platform for Smart City Planning which uses cloud computing to proceed all kinds of data in order to support city planning. This project, as the first cloud service platform in Changzhou, is also a leading program in Jiangsu Province.

According to the director of Wujin’s city planning authority, the Cloud Service Platform for Smart City Planning in general is a big data integration system consists of all the data involved in and required by planning management and design, that is, all types of buildings, roads, watercourses, ground level, land subsidence, underground construction, underground pipelines, etc.

At present, the basic ground data has been included in the platform, while the underground data is still in process. The next step is to promote and expand the application platform so that all the relevant sectors of urban construction can share their data resources.
