On October 14, the Changzhou Robotics Industry Chain Standards Alliance was established officially. The day also marks the 52nd World Standards Day with the motto "SDGs, Our Shared Vision for a Better World."

It is the first industry chain standards alliance in Jiangsu province, involving 30 colleges, research institutes, state-owned institutions, and private enterprises in Changzhou.

Robotics is one of Changzhou’s key industries. At present, there are more than 40 robotics companies across the city.

The alliance is responsible for analyzing and formulating relevant standards, encouraging its members to extend the robotics market in machinery, automobiles, new energy, food, medicine, electronics, and many other industries.

Each year on October 14, the members of IEC, IOS and ITU celebrate World Standards Day, which is a means of paying tribute to the collaborative efforts of thousands of experts worldwide who develop the voluntary technical agreements that are published as International Standards.
