On March 31, Fischer & Kaufmann GmbH & Co. KG (FIUKA) officially signed an agreement with Sino-German (Changzhou) Innovation Industry Park (SGIP) via video conferencing to establish a production center for cold-formed products in the park.

It is the fourth German company to invest in Jintan district this year, with which the park is now home to 48 enterprises from German-speaking countries.

Since the beginning of 2022, Jintan has managed to promote foreign investment through WeChat, telephone, and video conferencing, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier in March, Ventilatorenfabrik Oelde GmbH (Venti Oelde), one of the leading industrial fan producers, signed an investment agreement with SGIP. Venti Oelde's managing director Thomas Gandt said at the online signing ceremony that SGIP has rich experience in reaching out to German investors, which has recommended ideal facilities for his company.

Zhu Fenkou, deputy director of SGIP’s management office, stated that SGIP’s goal for 2022 is introducing into the park 15 companies from German-speaking countries.
