On May 12, Mr. Tashiro Hiroshi, consul of the Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai, visited Wujin District. He visited Wujin National High-tech Industrial Zone, and West Taihu Lake Science and Technology Industrial Zone (Wujin Economic Development Zone), accompanied by the officials of Wujin Bureau of Commerce. He also visited the Japanese-funded enterprises there such as Gohsyu, Sumitomo, Pigeon, etc.

Wujin is one of the most vigorous regions with great development potentials in the Yangtze River Delta, which enjoys good investment environment, excellent industry facilities and outstanding talents, said Tashiro. He also stated that he will positively share the information of Wujin with Japanese companies and encourage them to invest in Wujin.
