Following several LED tycoons like Lite-On Electronics and Epistar, on August 17th, the LED Industrial Park for Core Optical Materials was settled in Wujin Hi-tech Industrial Zone (WIZ). Deputy Mayor Mr. Fang Guoqiang and the main leaders of Wujin District were present at the signing ceremony.
　　With a total investment of USD 120 million, this LED Industrial Park targets foremost experts and companies in the field of optical materials at home and abroad. Currently, more than eight high-tech enterprises specialized in LED and related industries are to be settled in WIZ, including the White Optics, Alanod, Yuankai Lighting, Xinfeng Electronics, Echrom, etc. The output value of the industrial park is expected to exceed one billion yuan within three years.
