Recently, Changzhou University has seven programs newly recognized as national top-class undergraduate programs for the year 2021. These programs are: International Economics and Trade, Law and Legal Studies, Social Work, Energy and Power Engineering, Civil Engineering, Human Resource Management, and Environmental Design.

At present, Changzhou University has a total of 38 national and provincial top-class undergraduate programs, accounting for 56.72 percent of academic programs offered at the university.

The project for developing national and provincial top-class undergraduate programs was initiated by the Ministry of Education in April 2019, with the goal of nurturing top talent and vitalizing undergraduate education nationwide.
